KIS Transport and seven other brokers to collectively bargain with Flip Technologies

The ACCC does not object to the notification lodged by KIS Transport Australia Pty Ltd to enable it and seven other freight brokers to collectively bargain with Flip Technologies Pty Ltd (Flip).

The collective bargaining group will negotiate terms and conditions (excluding price) for a Software as a Service Agreement.

Collective bargaining is voluntary for members of the group and for Flip. Collective bargaining by businesses who are each other’s competitors may breach competition laws, but the notification provides protection from legal action under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

The notification was lodged on 26 October 2018 and remains in force for three years until 26 October 2021, unless the notification is withdrawn or revoked.

For more information, please refer to the ACCC’s Collective Bargaining Public Register.
