On 29 November 2018, the ACCC consented to ARTC's application to vary the 2011 Hunter Valley Access Undertaking. The variation introduces:
- path based pricing
- an incremental cost methodology, including:
- a change to allocating Incremental Capital Costs on the basis of contracted capacity
- a new process for allocating capital costs as either Fixed and/or Incremental Capital Costs at Rail Capacity Group meetings.
