Ruby Hutchison Memorial Lecture 2017

The 2017 Ruby Hutchison Memorial Lecture was hosted by the ACCC and Choice on Tuesday 14 March 2017. The lecture was delivered by Jessica Irvine, senior economics writer for The Age and the Sydney Morning Herald.

Ms Irvine discussed why renters and tenants need to be considered 'consumers' in the new economy, childcare as a service industry, and why consumers with disabilities will need extra protections as the National Disability Insurance Scheme rolls out across Australia.
